Following the warmest London Marathon on record MGL Wealth Management Ltd are pleased to announce that over £12,000 has been raised for Children with Cancer.
Darlington Harriers and their family and friends (pictured above) deservedly rehydrate after running in sweltering conditions. It wasn’t a day for recording personal bests but a day for trying to get around safe and sound and soak up the atmosphere as thousands of supporters lined the streets of London.
Paul Allan was 1st Harrier home in an impressive time of 2 hours 53 minutes which was way off his target time but a huge improvement on his marathon time. MGL Wealth Management Ltd Director, Barry Talman finished in 3 hours 12 minutes, quiet a way off his target time but was pleased with his time given the extreme conditions.
Barry Talman said: “Huge congratulations to everyone who completed the gruelling 26.2 miles there was some great efforts and also thanks to everyone who made a donation - we really appreciated it”.
